Just as we cross over the bridge Tanker 74 buzzes on scene as the first aircraft overhead. It was enroute to the Lowden fire and re-directed itself to the Pepper fire after seeing multiple structures threatened. Here 74 unleashes its load behind the Peppertree Apartments. It's kind of a free-for-all right now as Redding is scrambling for resources. The air tanker acts as a sort of Air Attack patrol until Air Attack 240 arrives on scene later.
