Pepper Incident starts up in Redding and threatens multiple structures as all the area resources are consumed for the Lowden Incident up near Lewiston.

Coming southbound on the freeway from Lake Blvd. the fire still hasn't reached the freeway. We are timing it so we can be on the freeway when/if the fire crosses for some good pictures. It is nice having a driver so he can pay attention and drive safely while I'm hanging out the window. |
