All packet check-ins should be made to the STARES packet mailbox from now on. If you are unable to connect direct, then connect to the RDG node first and then connect to the STARES packet mailbox. Then, type "ST CHECKN". (For clarification, just type what is in between the quotation marks, but not the quotation marks themselves.) When the mailbox answers you with the word SUBJECT: just type in your first name, leave 2 spaces, then type in your city, leave 2 spaces, then type "No Traffic" and then hit your Enter key. This will bring you down to the Message area. Without leaving any message, end with a Control-Z or /EX and hit the Enter Key again to end the message.

Every second Monday of the month, 7:00pm (19:00hours local) at the ECC Conference room. The entrance is off of Grape St from Cypress. If you are visiting us for the first time, be sure to ask for instructions to get to the meeting on talk-in 146.640- 88.5 repeater. Someone will lead you onto the CDF Complex. We welcome everybody.
It is best to check into the weekly VHF net the week prior to the meeting to confirm the meeting's location. There is a rare chance the meeting may be at a different EMCOMM location, re-scheduled, or canceled entirely due to fire season and the use of the conference room during large fire incidents.
